A photgraph showing Police Sergeant William George THOMAS of the BTC - British Transport Commission Police. Believed to have been taken at Swansea Central Railway Station.
The BTC was formed on the 1st Janusary 1948, so the photo must have been taken after that date.
The BTC Police went on to become what we now know as the BTP or British Transport Police.
