Deeside Road-Link River crossing A548 Shotton-Connahs Quay Bypass -Public Consultation

Disgrifiadau

The river Dee in North East Wales has long captivated the interest and imaginations of industrialists, entrepreneurs, artists and poets. From the purposeful, man-made cut that charges west from the English city of Chester to the moody, tide-bound gullies around Hilbre that have challenged generations of river pilots, the estuarial waters of the river have served as a cultural and economic lifeline.

This English/Cymraeg document was published by Clwyd County Council in 1989. It was made available to the public as part of a consultation exercise held at the Civic Centre in Connahs Quay. In the form of an open exhibition, it was designed to engage with resident stakeholders and raise awareness of the Council's concerns and proposals to make improvements in local highway infrastructure and connectivity between the respective banks of the river. These were considered to be essential to meet the future needs of Flintshire's burgeoning economy.
