Paul Douglas George was born in Caerleon in a semi-detached house on Broadwalk. Known byhis second name, Douglas, he attended the school, then called Caerleon Endowed, from the age of five. After the Second World War, he trained as a teacher. Douglas George took up position in the school as a teacher. He remained a teacher until his retirement in 1981.
