A photograph of Abercwmeiddaw slate quarry tips and tramway incline, Upper Corris before they were levelled and landscaped two years later. Note the very high retaining wall along the road side. The photograph was taken in 1988 by the late Gwen Hough who lived at 1 Gwyngyll, Upper Corris. She was an archivist at Dolgellau.
