This is an oil on canvas painting of a flight of P51 Mustang fighters from 361st Fighter group USAAF jet in flight. The painting is by the late Eddie Baker, who created his art work in his studio in Powys, Wales. Eddie specialized in painting aviation and maritime subjects, and was especially skilled at creating images of the classic ocean liners of the 20th century. He also demonstrated a skill at reproducing images of airliners and classic aircraft from World War Two. This painting of Mustangs can be seen at Bottisham Airfield Museum, where 361st FG P51's flew from in WW2.
