This is a brief narrative which accompanies an audio recording of an interview with Peter, recorded at the National Library of Wales in April 2025. Peter was 74 years of age when he was interviewed, and this account relies upon his recollections of his service in the Royal Artillery, photographs and artifacts in his possession and fact checking from various online resources.
