Kings Troop RHA horses cooling off in the sea
Disgrifiadau
This is a photograph of horses and riders of the Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery cooling their horses off in the sea at a location in the north of England during a hot summer in the 1970s. The photograph is owned by former Kings Troop Gunner Lance Bombardier Peter Slater, who served with the troop in the 1970's. Peter was on this ride and explains that this photograph was taken after a long hack with the troop on a hot summers day. The horses were on a trip in the north of England. Peter's memoirs and some photographs can be viewed online at the West Wales Veterans Archive on the Peoples Collection Wales website.
