This is a copy of an original photograph that belongs to Mr John Roberts. Former Chief Petty Officer John "Bob" Roberts joined the Navy in 1943 and served in the surface fleet and submarine service until 1967. This photograph shows John and a friend sat enjoying a drink in Copenhagen in May 1945. John and his friend were drafted to HMS Diadem at the time.
