[The Pulpit is carved from teak and has four eagles holding in aloft. It was donated by Charles Dovey in memory of his parents, Arthur and Ruth Dovey, 1926 . Brass plate inscription: ‘To the glory of god and in most affectionate rememberance of my dear parents WM and AM Dovey. Charles E. Dovey JP City of Cardiff 1926.’ He lived at 160 Cathedral Road, Canton, Cardiff and served in the Royal Flying Corps 1914-1918. ]
