Disgrifiadau

[This stained-glass window commemorate all those from the Parish of Canton who died in the Second World War (1939-1945). The artist was Sir Ninan Comper. The window is light and bright and cherubim are shown holding up a banner at the bottom which reads: ‘To the Glory of God and in loving memory of those who gave their lives in the World War 1939-1945. This window was erected by Relatives and Parishioners.’ The window has two main panels. One depicts St Martin, patron saint of soldiers, who is shown cutting his cloak in half with his sword to give to a naked beggar at his feet. The other depicts St David, Patron Saint of Wales, who holds his episcopal staff in one hand whilst the other is raised in a blessing. ]
