Rev. Cyril Summers wrote a book called 'A People's Pilgrimage' about the history of Community House. He came to Wales in the late 1950s to become the Minister of the Corporation Road Presbyterian Church as it was known then.
In his book he describes his vision for the building and the community of Maindee. The book was published in the early 1990s before Summers passed away in 1992.
