Spent my whole working life in the heavy clay industry (brickmaking) laboratories.
This included 15 years working for General Refractories, who owned Chas Davidson of Buckley and 27 years working for Butterley Brick (later Hanson brick) who owned Catherall and Lane End brick (both of Buckley).
Still interested in bricks and their history.
