John B Bush
Born 29/11/29 in Taunton, Somerset. Lived in Hampshire, UK until 1948; then moved to Carmarthenshire, Wales until 1969, then moved to Western Australia. Married Ruth Lenkeit 1956.
Educated at Bedales Schools, including Dunhurst. Learnt music from Tom Holding, who played in the Brigade of Guards Band at Queen Victoria's funeral. Then one year at Hampshire Farm Institute. Farming as a partner with father at Heberdens Farm, Finchdean, Portsmouth, Hants. and in Wales at Pantyrhuad, Llanddowror, St. Clears, Carms.
Hobbies: Photography. Music making as flute player with Hubberston, Pembrokeshire County and Cadogion Philharmonic Choir, Llangadoc in 1960s
In Western Australia I also became a music teacher, retiring from this at age 77
