I teach history at Swansea University and have published widely on the history of Wales and sport. My books include Wales since 1939 (2012), A History of Sport in Wales (2005), Soccer & Society: South Wales 1900-39 and, with Iain McLean, Aberfan: Government and Disasters (2000 and 2017).
