His address in 1915 and 1921 was 17 Norton Street, Knighton. He was a Railway Carter. He married at Knighton Baptist Church in 1938 and was living at 3 Orleton Flats, Temple Street, Llandrindod Wells. He joined the Royal Artillery as a gunner in 1939 but unfortunately he was knocked down by a car in Haverfordwest and killed instantly. He left a widow and a daughter. He is buried in The Old Knighton cemetery with his parents.
