Tor Clawdd Bungalow on Mynydd y Gwair, Craig Cefn Parc, the 1930s home of Henry Grindell-Matthews aka 'Death Ray Mathews' "By any standard Harry Grindell-Matthews was all that an eccentric scientist should be. Working in a remote laboratory in the Welsh mountains he claimed to have invented, among other things, an electronic beam which earned him the nickname 'Death Ray'...."
