Andy Hallett tells us about his favourite Welsh cider apple variety - the Frederick. He talks about its properties and why he feels it is a great cider apple.

Andy Hallett is the proprietor of Hallets Real Cider. Founded in 2008, Hallets Real Cider produces cider and perry and is located at Blaengawney Farm at Hafod Yr Ynys, Caerphilly, NP11 5AY. Their produce has won numerous awards including BBC Radio 4 Food and Farming award for Best Drinks Producer in the UK 2016.
