Launched at Royal Dockyard Pembroke Dock 9 May 1899.

Commissioned 1901. Displacement 5,500 tons.
Utilised by King Edward VII, George V, George VI, from 1901 to 1939, for formal visits, cruises, fleet reviews etc. Last used as a Royal Yacht in 1939.

Accomodation ship at Portsmouth 1942 to 1945. Refitted in 1946.

Not used again by Royal Family, she was broken up in 1954 at Fastlane.
