Cawdor (of Pembrokeshire Militia and of Fishguard fame) cause an embankment to be made at he north side of Broad Haven, and therefore helped to form these beautiful ponds, one of the greatest attractions of South Pembrokeshire, and, indeed, of South Wales.”
