Miami Beach Fun-fair opened in 1963 on the Little Warren at the east end of Aberavon Beach. A popular attraction amongst visitors, it had numerous rides and the Florida Restaurant and Amusement Arcade. A serious fire destroyed much of the latter complex in 1966. It was re-developed during the 1970s by the South Western Taverns Group. During the 1980s, it became derelict and the site was cleared. The area has now been developed by Westbury Homes and comprises Mariners Point and Mariners Quay.
