Marble-Church,-Bodelwyddan
Disgrifiadau
Aerial view of the Church of St Margaret of Antioch at Bodelwyddan, known far and wide as the Marble Church. You may think that the Marble refers to the pristine white of the church building, but in fact it is local limestone. It gets its nickname from its interior, where thirteen different types of marble have been used in columns and pillars throughout the construction inside. To the front of the church can be seen rows of white tombstones and these are the headstones of the Canadian soldiers that were killed at the end of the First World War in the so-called Kinmel Riots. Taken 26 August 2005.
