This photograph shows the w gable of the eighteenth and nineteenth century kitchen, with its tall stack. This forms the eastern wall of the brew house.A change in the pitch and level of the roof line is descernable, as are some dressed stones at first floor level, which could be the remains of a door jamb.Also visible in the SE corner of the brew houes is the outline of an arched doorway, again at first floor level.
