Llechwedd quarry on the A470, 2005
A drawing of the artist's proposed bridge over the Llechwedd sidings, designed to avoid the northern part of Blaenau Ffestiniog and enable a link with a larger bypass to the west of the town. The bypass had been proposed in 1966 but was never built. Falcon's design is sensitive to the confined location, the character of the existing bridges and the visual connections to be preserved.
