Ynys Enlli (Bardsey Island) is about two miles off the Llŷn peninsula in north Wales. The island is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a National Nature Reserve, and is managed jointly by the Bardsey Island Trust, Cadw and the Countryside Council for Wales. This drawing is a study of the buildings on the island, showing a farmhouse and nearby housing. Bardsey Island lighthouse, built in the early 1820s, is also illustrated with the lighthouse keeper's house in the foreground.
