Landscape view of Frongoch Lead Mine, Cwmnewyddion.
The Wemyss mine was a lead and zinc mine which operated in conjunction with Frongoch Mine, working the Frongoch lode intermittently from 1861 to 1899, together with West Frongoch.
Used as a location for episode 3 of Y Gwyll / Hinterland, a detective thriller set in Ceredigion.
