Women Against Pit Closures – Miners Strike 1984

Disgrifiadau

This leaflet was produced in response to a National Coal Board (NCB)'s attempts to persuade miners back to work. The NCB 'assistants' pictured are police officers. The leaflet lists the action that the union believes the NCB has taken to 'persuade' miners back to work including bringing in workers from other coalfields. The leaflet uses strong language to describe men who break ranks with the union and return to work and leaves the reader in no doubt as to their lasting punishment.
