"Wales: A Home from Home" - project - exhibition video (in English with English subtitles) Wales was officially designated a Nation of Sanctuary in 2019, yet its history of offering refuge stretches back centuries. Italians settled in Wales in the 19th century, not only because its hills and castles reminded them of home, but because they discovered something just as important: friendship and community. That enduring spirit of welcome continues today. This file highlights some fo the stories collected for the project.
