The story of a colliery disaster in the Rhondda Valley in 1856 when 114 men and boys lost their lives in an underground explosion. Through the years this tradgedy has been overshadowed by the flooding at the nearby Tynewydd Colliery 21 years later when only five men perished.  Published in 2016.
