Disgrifiadau

This article from the North Wales Weekly News appeared on 29 April 1976. It concerns workers from the Hotpoint Factory at Llandudno Junction protesting about foreign imports at the Weslh Trades Union Council conference in Llandudno.
Despite the confidence expressed in the Hotpoint Factory by its manager in 1974, and its aims to expand its share of the British market for washing machines (in 1974 foreign companies had 49% of the British market), by 1976 workers at Llandudno were clearly concerned at the impact of foreign competition on their future employment.
