Taibach County Youth Centre was a youth club based at Eastern School, Port Talbot (now Taibach Community Education Centre). This is a programme for their 1947 performance on 15, 16, and 17 April of 'Me and Mankind' in the County School Hall (which became Glan Afan Comprehensive School, now demolished). The performance was An 'Anthology of Drama, Mime, Music and Verse compiled by the Staff of the Centre'. It was a competition entry in the Glamorgan County Youth Eisteddfod. The performance included extracts from John Milton's Paradise Lost and Dylan Thomas's 'And Death Shall Have No Dominion'. There was a play called 'In the Beginning' by Edna Baker and a ballet mime of 'Faust'. The programme includes a synopsis of Faust on the back page. It credits the cast and crew of the performance.
