Llystyn Farm to the north of Brechfa, Carmarthenshire was the home of the Daniel and Sarah Davis family when missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints visited there in 1847. The family were converted to the missionaries' message, were baptised into the Church and subsequently emigrated to America.
