This is a copy of an original photograph of two Bandsmen from 3rd Carabineers Prince of Wales Dragoon Guards band and a lady, Carmen Sieroslawski. It was taken in about 1964, in Hastings. John Biggs is pictured holding sheets of music, with Carmen posing in between the Bandsmen. This is a poignant photograph, as John and Carmen had just met. They later marry and enjoy a long and happy life together. John joined the British Army as a Musician in 1959 and served for six years.
