This is a video film of an interview with Mr David "Dai" Griffiths, who served in the Royal Air Force Regiment in the 1950s. Dai served in Cyprus and Germany and in this video, interviewer Jessica Davies chats to Dai about his memories of his time in the RAF. Dai recounts memories from serving with 34 squadron in Cyprus and at RAF Wildenrath and RAF Gatow in Germany. The interview is recorded in Dai's first language, Welsh and has subtitles in English. Dai's service history and photographs relating to his service can be viewed online in the David Griffiths RAF collection at the West Wales Veterans Archive on the Peoples Collection Wales website. Dai was 91 years of age when he was interviewed.
