This photograph shows the original personal equipment box that Mr David "Dai" Griffiths used to post his personal belongings and some RAF uniform, back home when he left the RAF circa 1960. Amazingly, Dai kept the box in his garage and it remains with him to this day. Dai's RAF jackets he wore throughout the 1950s were stored in the box and photographs of them and other items relating to Dai's time in the RAF can be viewed online in the David Griffiths RAF collection on the West Wales Veterans Archive at the Peoples Collection Wales website.
