Badge commemorating the performance by the Festival of Empire Welsh Choir on 23 September 1911 at Crystal Palace, in which around 5000 performers took part, drawn from 46 choirs from throughout Wales. The badge probably belonged to Thomas Lloyd James (1862-1937), of Llandrindod. It may be one of the badges supplied "at the special rate of 3d" to members of the choirs taking part which allowed them entry to the side-shows at the Exhibition at half price.
