Plas Llwyngwern, Pantperthog. The Beaumont family who were descended from the 5th Marquess of Londonderry once lived here. Although not geographically in the village of Ceinws, Esgairgeiliog, it is a close neighbour and the social and political influence of the house and family on the village throughout the 20th century was considerable.
