This is a short audio clip of Gloucestershire regiment Veteran Mr Leslie Smart, chatting about the Mau Mau insurgency in Kenya during 1955. Leslie served a tour of duty in Kenya and fought against Mau Mau tribesmen. In this audio, he talks about the tragic loss of a fellow soldier and reflects upon the skill of the Mau Mau.
