From the collection, an unusual and intricately designed brass tipstaff. It measures 10 inches in length, is solid, heavy and has two section which screw / unscrew into sepeaate parts.
The lower part of the body has a 19th century / Victorian era Patent 'lozenge' stamp, dating it to the year 1870. Unknown provenance.
