Artist Pauline Evans of Dowlais Visual Art Group has produced a strong design depicting a local chapel. Using her initial drawing she has traced the image in reverse onto the soft cut lino surface. She has carefully worked out which areas need to be white and therefore cut away from the lino. She will then be left with the raised areas which can be inked up to impress ink upon the surface paper.
