During the Valleys Re-told Exhibition held at the Engine House in Dowlais, Merthyr Tydfil visitors were invited to take part in a creative activity which evolved around the history of the local area, being the textile, design and manufacture and home workers industries in Merthyr Tydfil. Artist Christine Lewis led the session in partnership with Cyfarthfa Museum & Art Gallery and Museum Wales which provided the opportunity for local school, social groups and visitors to share their stories, design and create drawings linked to the Laura Ashley and Hoovers Story.
