This picture was taken in September 1989 on the retirement of Eddie Moran as Rolling Mill Superintendent at Dolgarrog. Eddie joined Aluminium Corporation in 1981 following the closure of the British Aluminium Rheola Rolling Mill at Resolven in the Neath Valley. He had spent 25 years at Rheola and was their strip rolling expert. Dolgarrog employed about 60 people in the hot, cold strip & hand mill rolling departments at that time.
