This is a photograph of HMS Forth taken by official Royal Navy Photographer and held by the Imperial war museum London. Harry Comley was serving with the Cheshire regiment in the early 1950's when he spent the night aboard this ship whilst docked at Port Said, Egypt. The visit was an exchange between Royal Navy and Army personnel. Harry's own photograph of the ship can be viewed in his WWVA collection.
