Thomas was the son of Robert Jones (1824-1898) and Mary Roberts (1823-1898), both of Flintshire. They married on 10 July 1847. Thomas birthdate not known, he died in 1937. He married Elizabeth Ann Humphries and they had a son Robert born 17 October 1900. Robert died in Dec 1993 ar Rhuddlan, Clwyd.
