William "Roly" Thomas was a keen photographer and took many photos of the airfield at RAF Dhubalia and its surroundings while he was stationed there with the Royal Air Force during World War Two. This photograph shows a number of Hawker Hurricanes, with a Douglas C47 Dakota at the far end. The man in the photo is unidentified.
