Penybont, by Mallwyd Bridge
Disgrifiadau
The waterfall at Penybont Mallwyd in the 1920s. At one time there was a weir here that served a fulling mill. The weir was blown up by Edmund Buckley in the 1850s once the mill finally ceased working, partly to create a tourist attraction and to make it easier for spawning fish to travel up-river. A house was later built on the site.
