Notes:
1. Built in the simple round-headed style, gable entry type. Still in use in 2000. Source: Coflein database.

3. There is a photograph of the chapel taken prior to its closure, on the Dyfed Family History Society website.
4. As as result of a planning application approved in November 2002, the chapel was converted into a private residence, which is currently (August 2007) on offer for £335,000.

Gibea Chapel Graveyard A small burial yard is situated on the opposite side of the road from the chapel. The graveyard is on sloping land and is currently only about one quarter occupied. The entrance gate bears a plaque (right)

The burial yard contains one military grave, that of Leading Aircratfman D. J. Rees of the Royal Air Force, whose details are recorded in the database of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission:

The record above and the gravestone (Image 7) omit the age of the deceased, but the General Register Office Deaths Index (Image 8) shows him to have been 25 years old when he died.
