Note 1: Tyn-y-Coed Chapel was built in 1756 [sic] in the Simple Round-Headed style with a hipped box roof. [Source: Coflein database of the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales (accessed 22 September 2015)]

Note 2: [Built] 1829. Set in a large graveyard full of rustically classical C19 memorials. Square plan, with hipped roof on deep eaves. Three-bay front with tall flanking round-arched windows. The interior is of c. 1880. The three-sided gallery with long panels of pretty cast-ironwork divided by fluted pilaster strips. Pulpit to rear. Could this refitting be by the Rev Thomas Thomas?
