Llandyfriog is a quiet village and parish on the northern banks of the River Teifi, a few miles east of Newcastle Emlyn.

Llandyfriog parish church, dedicated to St Tyfriog, viewed through the lych-gate at the entrance to the churchyard. (A lych-gate is a roofed gateway to a churchyard, originally used prior to a burial for sheltering the coffin until the arrival of the clergyman)

Most of the houses in Llandyfriog are built on the northern side of the main valley road. Note the old red telephone box and letter box.
