Erthygl bapur newydd o The Cambrian, a gyhoeddwyd ar 09/11/1833, yn disgrifio morfil yn cael ei ei olchi i'r lan yn Niwgwl (Newgale Sands).
Mae'r toriad yn darllen fel a ganlyn: "A Whale. – On the afternoon of the 5th instant, a Whale was thrown on shore on Newgale Sands, in the county of Pembroke, supposed to have been dead for some time. It was soon dismembered of its head and tail, and the following day a number of persons were collected around it, cutting away and carrying off in carts its blubber. This monster of the deep cut up quite white, with a very strong and rather unpleasant fishy smell, and was about 30 feet in length."
