Disgrifiadau

This is an audio clip from an interview with Jane Manuel where she recalls being part of Ralph Reader's theatre productions.

In her interview, Jane discusses how her mother was involved in Ralph Reader's WAF Gang Shows as a performer, meaning Jane grew up familiar with musical theatre. In 1976, she married and moved to Cardiff, where she joined Cardiff Ziona and began producing charity musical shows with members of the community. They were held in the local synagogue, but soon were moved to other venues such as St David's Hall. Jane's productions have continued with consistent quality over the years and she has raised money for a number of charities. In this interview Jane shares her memories in growing up in London, how she moved to Wales and her experience in the theatre. She expresses her love of the Jewish community in Cardiff, and the significance of theatre productions on her life and the lives of the members of the community.
